According to Ken Davidoff (via NoMaas.org), Johnny Damon will not take a shorter deal to stay with the Yankees.

Basically, the article is him advertising himself, and trying to get a three-year deal.  He claims that he has three teams interested in him already.

This is it.  Cashman, you hear me?  Let him walk.  Just cut ties.  This team needs to get younger.
