The Minors: Even when the major league team is playing like crap, you can always expect to see a nice line or two in the minors, keeping your hopes up for next year, and the year after that, and the year after that.
A few minor notes:
The Yankees will be sending Austin Jackson and Kevin Russo to the Arizona Fall League. They also have five more roster spots to fill - four pitchers and one infielder. The Arizona Fall League is a winter baseball league for more advanced prospects that are (somewhat) close to the majors. I would think they are going to be sending guys with not a humungous amount of innings, but that are still good prospects. I'm gonna guess some people from the group of Kevin Whelan, Humberto Sanchez, Jeff Marquez, Jhonny Nunez, and Alfredo Aceves for the pitchers. I'm gonna guess that Ramiro Pena is the other infielder.
Some time after the minor league season ends I'm going to try to make an updated Top 50 prospects list. Then I'll probably do one in the offseason after trades and stuff are made.

It's over, dude. And in a way, I'm glad. Hopefully, the Yankees will take a hard look at themselves in the off-season and realize they have to rebuild. And that means give the kids a legitmate shot at playing. Gardner, etc, gets a real chance—not once every 4 days or some such.
Looking forward to your Top 50 prospects.
