AAA: Off
The Yankees signed IF Chris Basak to a minor league deal and sent him to Scranton. He had one at-bat with the real Yankees last season before being claimed off waivers by the Twins.
AA: Lose 8-9
Ramiro Pena: 1-5 HR(2) .290/.362
He supposedly has incredible defense, so he might be a utility option next year if Alberto Gonzalez continues to not hit at all.
Austin Jackson: 2-5 2K .285
He's really starting to hit now, but has struck out 58 times.
Colin Curtis: 1-4 2B BB .259/.342
Right now, he only looks to be a backup OF.
Edwar Gonzalez: 1-5 2B .291
He decided to learn how to hit this season, but he doesn't walk at all (.318 OBP). That and his age (25) make him not a prospect.
Cody Ehlers: 2-4 BB .201
Jose Tabata: 2-4 HR(2) BB .241
Come on, let's pick it up.
PJ Pilittere: 0-4 .280
Chris Malec: 2-3 .307/.391
He's really impressing so far, but for some reason only 8th in the lineup. He's a bit old (25) for the league, but he could be a solid utility option in the majors next year also. He has played 1B, 2B, and 3B. I say move him to AAA.
Reegie Corona: 1-4 .256
Jason Jones: 4.2IP 6H 7R 3ER 4BB 4K 2.49
Anthony Claggett: 1.1IP 4H 2R 1BB 1.48
He's been pretty good since joining Trenton. He has walked too many (14 in 24.1 IP) though.
Steven Jackson: 1IP 2K 6.35
Talk about a disappointment. Ever since coming over in the Randy Johnson deal he has done nothing.
Bo Hall: 1IP 1BB 1K 2.08
A+: Lose 9-4
Kunda/Henry/Fortenberry/Battle/Cox: hitless
Henry struck out three more times
Jose Gil: 4-4 2 2B .289
Andres Perez: 2-3 2B BB .289
Kevin Smith: 1-4 2B .281
Man, what a boring team.
Michael Dunn: 5.1IP 11H 8ER 2BB 4K 4.44
Wilkins Arias: 1.2IP 1H 0R 2BB 4K 2.61
Stephen Artz: 2IP 1H 1R 0BB 0K 3.05
A-: Off
SI: Lose 9-4
Austin Kruml: 2-4 2B BB 2K
Prillys Cuello: 2-5 2 2B
Dan Brewer: 1-4 BB
Taylor Grote: 1-3
Brian Chavez: 1-3
Jeff Nutt/Addison Maruszak/David Adams/Erik Lovett: hitless
Luke Greinke: 2IP 3H 3R 2BB 2K
Jake Shafer: 0IP 0H 3R 2BB
Brad Rulon: 1.1IP 2H 0R 1BB
Tim Dennehy: 2.2IP 1H 8-0 GO-FO
Jacinto Gonell: 2IP 1BB 1K
Drew Shetrone: 1IP 4H 2ER 1K
I obviously haven't been posting the Dominican Summer League's stats (too much work, box scores aren't always up right away), so I'll post some notable season stats thus far:
