Game 40: What's Up With the Yankees?

The Yankees have scored only 2 runs in 2 games against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. This is not supposed to happen.

Chien-Ming wang was fantastic once again, giving up only 1 run in 7 innings. Unfortunately, the Yankees couldn't score a single run against him until the bottom of the 9th when Hideki Matsui hit a solo homer. Kyle Farnsworth, Joba Chamberlain and Mariano Rivera followed. Rivera gave up a RBI single in the bottom of the 11th to give up the game, and his first run of the season.
